Ambur Radio 103.6FM is a community station based in the heart of Walsall in the Midlands. It was launched on the 1st July 2009. We recognised the importance of reaching out to all ethnic minorities in the community and we are categorised as one of the first multicultural community station.
Ambur Radio has received the ‘Community Excellence Award 2009’ within 3 months of trading at the Black Country Asian Business Association Awards, and we are now titled as a ‘Award Winning Radio Station’.
We have more than 200,000 live listeners and more then 140,000 online listeners actively engaging with our advertisers messages. All our listeners range from multi cultural societies including: Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Gujrati, English and many other languages.
As well as broadcasting on the FM waveband the community radio station is also streamed across the internet and is available throughout the world on any device which is connected to the internet.
